I remember going to watch the movie Avatar with a buddy of mine who was visiting Santa Barbara. He’s from Canada. We walked out of the theatre and it was a balmy +10 celsius outside. It was -25C where he was from.

For a minute he looked confused as he shook his head back and forth. Then, he looked around and said: “Wow, I just stepped into the movie Avatar. This place is unbelievable!”.

He was right. Santa Barbara is like no other place on earth. The climate is stuck right on perfect and the beach is within walking distance. The restaurants are incredible and the nightlife is fantastic. UCSB is right here and Los Angeles is only an hour away. So, take some time to get away from the rest of the planet earth and come to Santa Barbara!

Be sure to go for as many long walks as you possible can. The weather is perfect for it and there’s so much to see. You’ll also get so much more out of Santa Barbara by stumbling onto something when walking around.
Strolling along State Street you’ll find some incredible shops, bars and restaurants. And, everything is pristine and green!
You’ve arrived! Take a stroll in paradise and be sure to grab a surfboard. The water is great and the beach is amazing.
Santa Barbara is embedded in the Santa Ynez Mountains and fronts on the Pacific ocean. Many illustrious houses are perched in the Mountains overlooking the beaches and city below. Very safe and friendly the city still has a boisterous nightlife with multiple restaurants and nightclubs thanks mostly to the UCSB. Santa Barbara is also a cultural hub hosting the Santa Barbara International Film festival and sporting famous actors and actresses from all over the world. Know as the French Riviera of America, Santa Barbara is definitely a place to relax and enjoy. See you at the beach!
