Pismo Beach is really unlike any other beach we’ve ever seen in California. It invokes emotion immediately upon seeing it. You look out at miles and miles and miles of beach and you instantly feel your knees get weak and your head shaking side to side while you ask yourself, what have I been doing all this time! And then you understand the word epiphany! You walk down the steps from the pier until you get onto the clear white sand, which stretches a good 300 feet before it reaches the ocean. You’re completely mesmerized by the size of the beach and something is pulling you – it’s the ocean. When you arrive at the ocean you look left away from the pier and there’s literally no end in sight. The beach just seems to go on and on and on. So, you start walking. Two hours later you still haven’t reached the end. You’ve gone past the dunes but still there’s more beach. So, you turn back exhausted but somehow rejuvenated knowing that you found a place as incredible as Pismo!

Now, whenever we’re ever asked if I’ve had an epiphany, we just smile!
