Getting a start-up company off the ground can be extremely challenging and yet in the Bay Area start-ups are a regular occurrence. Getting seed capital can be a key aspect of getting your company off the ground. So, here’s a list of Venture Capitalists in California with an idea of where they tend to invest. 1. Kevin Rose is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. He founded Digg and WeFollow. His is currently working on his recent venture Milk .
2. Raj Atluru is a clean tech investor and former managing partner of Draper Fisher Jurvetson . Raj announced he was stepping down from Draper Fisher Jurvetson to move to Silver Lake Kraftwerk to pursue later stage clean energy companies. DFJ’s clean technology investments include, but are not limited to, Tesla Motors, BrightSource and Solar City. DFJ will continue to work with Raj after his move indicating that the move puts him in a position to help at a later stage in the game where increased funding is required.
