Kings Canyon – California

Although the beach is amazing (check out the beaches in California Beaches ), California has so much more to see. King’s Canyon National Park is the largest protected forest in California where you’ll find the largest trees in the world – Sequoias. Be sure to take a trip to King’s Canyon and don’t forget to try some Bear Mountain Pizza just before you get into the park – best pizza in the world! As you climb into the mountains you’ll also see some other amazing trees, like Redwoods and Oak trees. But, when you come to a tree that is the size of ten normal trees, you’ll be looking at a Sequoia! Fires are a major hazard to these amazing trees, so be sure to take care when you’re anywhere near the forest.
