California – Best Places to Visit

It’s amazing to come to a beach in California and for many months in the year see them completely empty! The trip you really have to make

Private Beaches when the tourists leave!

Yes, that’s right, the beaches are completely empty. Tourist season comes and goes and when it’s over, many of the beaches sit empty because all the Californian’s are working. Oddly, the tourist season ends earlier than one would expect – about the beginning of September. But, the weather in California is amazing at least until the end of November, as is the ocean. So, if you time everything perfectly, you can end up with amazing weather and a private beach!

Santa Barbara Triathlon

The trip you really want to make is from Santa Barbara to Malibu. Then from Malibu head to Redondo Beach along the North Pacific highway (the no. 1) and continue on to Seal Beach. When you get to Seal Beach, take a detour up to Knott’s Berry Farm. Although Disney Land is a must see, so is Knott’s Berry Farm, which is much more suited for young kids. Check it out Knotts Berry Farm . After you get your fill of theme parks, then keep going south back along the North Pacific Highway (the no. 1) all the way down to San Diego! Be sure to spend as much time as you can at the beach. Again, going in October through December is a great way to avoid the tourist rush and get in some amazing sights. Traffic will of course not change given that there’s almost 10 million people living in LA and the surrounding areas, but hey if you’re waiting in traffic looking out at the ocean, you’re not doing too badly!

Starting Point Santa Barbara – ending point San Diego!
